AXIS was awarded the 8(a) STARS II GWAC Open Season contract. A notice to proceed was issued to AXIS in June, effectively allowing it to begin receiving task orders. 8(a) STARS II is a prestigious small business set-aside GWAC that provides flexible access to customized IT solutions from a diverse pool of industry partners.
AXIS was awarded a contract with the Department of Labor to maintain and modernize mission-critical systems. Under this project, AXIS will introduce new methodologies, standardize business processes, and automate critical system components.
AXIS is excited to announce that it was appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3. An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization has established excellence for performing at a “defined” level. The CMMI Institute is the global leader in the advancement of best practices in people, process, and technology. The Institute provides the tools and support for organizations to benchmark their capabilities and build maturity by comparing their operations to best practices and identifying performance gaps.
